The Azienda Agricola Lenza was founded in 1964 on the slopes of Monte Orfano by the will of Giuseppe Lenza, with the work of patient reconstruction of the vineyards and the planting of vines in forms of pergola given the position and exposure of the land rapidly degrading to the floor and laboriously terraced. Four hectares of land patiently obtained where the rock frequently emerges mixed with the conglomerate hardened by the millennia, the particular nature of the soil, the excellent exposure and the passionate care of an entirely family management, are able to give body and soul to an excellentFRANCIACORTA, rich of nuances and unmistakable perceptions particularly appreciated by connoisseurs who, since the first presentation in 1973, recognize the FRANCIACORTA LENZA a distinct personal typicality.
Brut Nature Riserva 2006 "Tesi" -
GRAPES USED: 100% Chardonnay.
HARVEST: 9th September 2006. Use of ripe grapes from vines over 30 years of age.
VINIFICATION: Vinification, fermentation and maturation of the base wine in an absolutely natural way in 225-liter barriques without the use of starter yeast. The first alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation were carried out by indigenous yeasts and indigenous lactic bacteria respectively. The maturation of the bases on the fermentation biomass lasted for 11 months before the second fermentation.
AGING ON YEAST: At least 120 months.
ORGANOLEPTIC PROFILE: Golden in color. Bouquet of great finesse and complexity with hints of bitter almond, burnt honey and licorice root. The flavor is dry, harmonious with a hint of vanilla and aromatic oak. Very fine, discreet and precious bubble. It closes with a wonderful sensation of toasted hazelnut.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14% vol.
PAIRING: As a meditation bubble or paired with soft cheeses.
