CAIAZZANA OLIVE FOR CANTEEN Slow Food presidium

Its cultivation dates back to pre-medieval times. Typical of the Caiatino area, it is easily distinguished by its ellipsoidal shape with rounded apex and slightly flattened base and by the color of the pulp, which is purplish black from the outside to the core. It is excellent from a nutritional point of view. The slightly bitter taste makes this olive a versatile food that can accompany many other ingredients. The Presidium guarantees that harvesting and processing take place according to a production disciplinary that is attentive to quality.
