Sagrantino Passito Docg
The most traditional of Montefalco wines, obtained from the vinification of selected Sagrantino grapes, left to dry for over three months on racks. Following this process, the wine yield is extremely low and is approximately 25-30 liters per 100 kg of fresh grapes. After numerous decanting and a year's maturation in oak barrels, Sagrantino passito concludes its refinement in the bottle, where it remains at least twelve months before being drunk. It is a wine that has a great longevity and that over time improves its organoleptic characteristics.
